How Does HOURCAR Work?

Car ownership is so yesterday. With HOURCAR car sharing, you can reserve a car when you need it, drive it where you want to, let someone else worry about depreciation, insurance, fuel, and maintenance, and be an environmental superstar. At the same time!

1. Join — Become an HOURCAR member. You need to be at least 18 years old and have a relatively clean driving record (find out more) and there is a one-time $50 fee for us to process your application.
2. Reserve — Reserve any HOURCAR online or by phone, 24 hours a day.
3. Drive — HOURCAR has no paperwork and no lines. Just tap your “fob” on the reader and the car unlocks and is ready to drive in seconds. Forget everything you know about conventional car rentals. Your HOURCAR member plan always covers gas, maintenance, and insurance.
