Basics

HOURCAR pays for all vehicle costs: fuel, cleaning, insurance, and maintenance.

Get monthly invoices itemizing each HOURCAR use by employees.

The one-time HOURCAR application fee is $25 per employee-driver. Each employee-driver must meet our Member Qualifications

Employee-drivers have the same responsibilities as individual HOURCAR members (Please see: Member Handbook PDF).

HOURCAR staff will conduct an orientation session at your site for employee-drivers. Then you're ready to get rolling!

Your business is responsible for up to $500 for damage that is partly the fault of one your employee-drivers.

BUSINESS SERVICE MODELS:

HOURCAR offers businesses three service models: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. If your needs would be better matched by a blend of these models, let's talk. We're flexible!

Silver: Open Model

Your employees simply reserve time on nearby HOURCARs. You choose a Rate Plan that best matches your needs.

Gold: Partly Dedicated Model

HOURCAR's Gold service model features economical workday dedication. Specific HOUCARs are for the exclusive use of your employees on days and during hours that work for you (e.g., 9am-4pm, M-F).

USAGE FEES

$4.95 ($2.95*) / hour + $0.39 / mile
OR (your choice),
 $7.95 ($2.95*) / hour + $0.09 / mile

MONTHLY COST

The greater of:
~ a minimum per-vehicle charge **
OR
~ actual usage based on the hourly/mileage fees

* Off-peak: 2.95/hr, 11pm-7am, plus normal mileage charge.

** Minimum monthly charges start at only $750 per vehicle and depend on your location and the number of dedicated hours desired. Please contact HOURCAR for a quote.

Platinum: Fully Dedicated Model

The Platinum service model is a smart substitute for company-owned fleet vehicles. HOURCARs are fully dedicated for the use of your employees and are parked at your site.

USAGE FEES

$4.95 ($2.95*) / hour + $0.39 / mile
OR (your choice),
 $7.95 ($2.95*) / hour + $0.09 / mile

Rates quoted here do not include 6.5% Minnesota state sales tax, 0.5% Saint Paul City Sales tax, and 6.2% Minnesota state motor vehicle rental tax.
