Business Rate Plan

HOURCAR offers two business rate plans. For businesses whose drivers drive fewer than ten hours per month, and rarely use daily rates, the Freedom plan is the best choice. For those whose employees drive more than ten hours, or use daily rates more than once a month, the Go plan makes the most sense.

You may change rate plans at any time, but let us know before the first of the month in which you would like the change to be effective.

Freedom plan:
$8 per hour, 25¢ per mile
$10 monthly membership
Daily rates: $65 weekday, $75 weekend day

Go plan:
$6 per hour, 25¢ per mile
$30 monthly membership
Daily rates: $55 weekday, $65 weekend day

All daily rates include 100 free miles, and are available on select vehicles

Both rate plans offer an off-peak rate of $3 per hour from 11 pm to 7 am.

There is no application fee to set up a business account. Each new driver incurs a one-time application fee of only $25.

Rates do not include Saint Paul or Minneapolis city sales tax (0.5%), Minnesota state sales tax (6.875%), the Minnesota Transit Improvement Sales and Use tax (0.25%) or state motor vehicle rental tax (6.2%).
