DO I QUALIFY?
Each member of HOURCAR must meet these qualifications:

Have held valid driver’s license for at least five (5) years
Sign HOURCAR's Member Agreement
Complete HOURCAR's online new member orientation, or attend an orientation in person

• Driving Record •
|
|
No more than two (2) incidents within the prior three (3) years.
An incident is a moving violation or an accident.
No more than one (1) incident in the prior eighteen (18) months.
No major violations in the prior three (3) years.
Major violations are 1) excessive (20+ mph over the limit) speeding; 2) operating to endanger or reckless driving; 3) leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage; 4) operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license; or 5) school bus stopping-flag violation.
No alcohol-related violations in the prior seven (7) years.

All new members must sign the HOURCAR Member Agreement. Among other provisions, the Agreement obliges members to notify HOURCAR staff immediately should they become non-compliant with any of these qualifications.
