HOURCAR’s daily rates make it possible for members to use some of our cars for longer trips (up to three days). We keep most cars limited to hourly rate usage to ensure that cars are available for shorter trips, but we know that sometimes you need a car all day in the city and sometimes it’s nice to get out of town!
Daily rates cover any 24-hour period and include 100 miles per day. When you reserve cars to which daily rates apply, you are automatically charged the per hour and per mile rates or the daily rate, whichever is less expensive.
Seward Co-op, an HOURCAR hub sponsor and host, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year with a BIG PARTY. HOURCAR will be there to help Seward celebrate! We're looking forward to great music, scrumptious eats and locally-brewed libations. Please come enjoy the party and stop by our booth to say 'hello.'
We'd love to have you join us at our booth for a couple hours during the party to tell party-goers about your experiences as an HOURCAR member. If you're interested, drop a line to info@HOURCAR.org.

HOURCAR’s 35th vehicle, a red Ford Ranger, was added today to our Stevens Square hub in Minneapolis. The Stevens Square hub is accessible to most of HOURCAR’s members in Minneapolis, who will now have access to an HOURCAR truck without crossing the river. HOURCAR users in Saint Paul enjoy the use of HOURCAR’s truck at the Macalester College hub.
As you can see in this image, HOURCAR and our new Ford Ranger have the same city of origin: good old Saint Paul!
HOURCAR members enjoy access to all of the vehicles in our fleet.
